The JOKO Collective condemns FBI raids on Uhuru Movement 

The JOKO Collective joins many distinguished organizations and individuals in the condemnation of the July 29th military-style raids on the African People’s Socialist Party’s (APSP) Uhuru House, Uhuru Solidarity House centers and the private residence of Omali Yeshitela and Ona Zené Yeshitela, Chairman and Vice-Chair of the APSP.

IFCO / Pastors for Peace denounces FBI attack on African People's Socialist Party 

Uhuru means freedom in Swahili and it is the call that friends of the African People's Socialist Party make throughout their struggle for a better world. On July 13, 2022,members of IFCO/Pastors for Peace sat with comrades from the African People's Socialist Party and Uhuru Movement on their Black Power Radio Station 96.3fm, to talk about the 30th anniversary of the Friendshipment Caravan and our long standing support for the Cuban revolution that has given so much to people all over the world.

We are our own liberators! 

It has always been the expressed goal of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP) that true African liberation will come by no other means than our own. Since 1972—our founding—the Party has waged this ideological and on-the-ground warfare against colonial propaganda; and for this, in the early hours of Friday, July 29, our Party and movement leaders were viciously attacked by the FBI. For daring to take liberation into our own hands, the Party was targeted.
