Uhuru Comrades, mark your calendars!

The International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM) is entering its final stretch of for the 26th Anniversary Convention, which will take place on September 16-17, 2017 in St Louis, Missouri.

With a theme of “We Must Organize the People, Now More than Ever,” this convention, held at Legacy Books and Cafe (5249 Delmar Blvd), will signal a new era for InPDUM in the deepening crisis of imperialism.

All of InPDUM’s work is tied to a strategy to win the masses to the understanding that revolutionary organization is the only solution to achieving self-determination.

This convention is shaping up to be a critical part of the history of the African resistance, with powerful speeches that are going to be given by Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African People’s Socialist Party and Kalambayi Andenet, International President of InPDUM.

Live cultural performances from Hip Hop artists such as Precision and Statement Dance Company, will ensure that this convention is both serious and exciting for people of all age groups.

Over the last several months, we have spoken about the “war of ideas” that is continuously led by neocolonial puppets.

This is why we must teach our people practical skills to organize in our day to day struggles.

We will offer a dynamic experience

This is not a convention filled with just speeches and entertainment. That would be counter-revolutionary.

Hence, workshops have been created to ensure we leave the Convention with tools for success.

How do you become a leader or an Organizer? How do you become a propagandist and a reporter? How do you create economic institutions that contend with the state?

This convention will also feature workshops on how to build InPDUM branches, recruit people into the organization and build economic development in your communities.

With the obvious white nationalist attacks that have continuously been erupting around the country, it is time for African people to organize to secure our own future into our own black hands.

We are asking you to join us in Ferguson in our quest to unite black people all over the world and to put our own needs back on the agenda for Black Power and self-determination.

In order for black people everywhere to survive, we must come into organization and we must RESIST!

Tickets to attend are available fo $35. Register today at inpdum.org!
