Black people from all over the U.S. to convene on Washington D.C. for National Black People's Convention on Nov 5th and 6th!
The black community, led by the BIB, marches on the White House in 2015
This weekend Africans from all over the United States will descend on Washington, D.C. for our two-day National Black Political Agenda for Self-Determination Convention!
Our Black People’s Convention will be a Convention of resistance beginning with a rally and march on the White House on November 5th. Fittingly, the rally portion of our Convention will be held at Malcolm X Park (Meridian Hill Park) and it will allow the thousands of black people who had no voice in the Democratic and Republican conventions to step out from the shadows of oppression and speak for ourselves.
There will be mothers, friends and relatives of victims of police murder and violence with placards and pictures of their loved ones, many of whom will be able to stand and tell the world of their pain and their intention to pursue our own agenda for redemption, power and reparations.
We will then march on the White House, after which our Convention will convene across the street at Lafayette Park where more speakers will address the people.
The Convention will move indoors to the Blackburn Center at Howard University on Sunday, November 6th, where we will unveil and celebrate our National Black Political Agenda for Self-determination––which consists of a Declaration and 19 Points––that the Black is Back Coalition for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations adopted at our August 13th and 14th Preparatory Conference in Philadelphia.
A declaration of independence from the white ruling class
African people have come to a consensus: we have our own National Black Political Agenda for Self-Determination and will gather just days before the white people’s election on November 8th.
Africans will travel from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Illinois, Missouri, Alabama, and even California, etc., to Washington, D.C. for our historic black people’s convention.
Initiated by the Black Is Back Coalition (BIBC) for Social Justice, Peace and Reparations––an organization of organizations which was formed in November of 2009 as a result of the U.S. presidency of Barack Obama––this black people’s declaration is a declaration of independence from any white ruling class party or organization.
Poor and working class Africans who have no confidence in the U.S. government will declare our independence from the Democratic and Republican parties at this convention.
Make the demand for self-determination!
History has provided the strongest evidence of why we cannot equate the security of the oppressor with our own. The oppressor’s security comes at the expense of the oppressed. When the oppressed experience justice the oppressor will be dead, no longer able to feast off the production of the people.
We, the black community, finally have our own agenda! To view our 19-point black people’s Agenda, visit blackisbackcoalition.org.
We are making the call for all black people to join us on November 5th and 6th in Washington D.C. for the National Black Political Agenda for Self-Determination Convention!
Our self-determination cannot wait!
The struggle for self-determination must be made!
